Ivanhoe Swords
Disinherited and banished by his father Cedric the Saxon, for swearing his love to lady Rowena, the young nobleman Ivanhoe
left to the crusades with Richard the Lionheart. On coming back from the Holy Land, he was involved as a Richard supporter in his war against
usurper Prince John.
Eventually, Cedric admits his son's intentions of getting married with Lady Rowena and the wedding took place in the York
cathedral in presence of King Arthur. This marriage ended the fighting between
the Saxons and the Normans whose enmity had existed since William the Conqueror conquered England.
