Renaissance Style Steel Swept-Hilt Rapier (SH1024)
Swept Hilt Rapiers trace their origins to early 17th century Europe, where swordplay with the Rapier was considered an essential part of a gentleman's education and was often used in resolving gentlemanly disagreements. This model features a well-balanced high-carbon steel blade with a solid steel basket (not plated) and a hardwood grip. The rigid scabbard is leather-covered. Renaissance Style Fencing Rapier (SH1032)
Fencing in the Renaissance style is rapidly growing in popularity, combining the quickness of light blades with the structure and spirit of the duel. This version of the Fencing Rapier carries the double-wide Epee (Musketeer) blade (see also 1032B-GT), which is an extremely quick button-tipped blade based on sport fencings "epee" style. Separately available accessories include the 301-OK sheath, the ACDI09 mask (the use of a mask is strongly recommended for use with these weapons) and the 1501-GT Fencing Jacket. traditional parallel-sided schlagers of the same length, making for
