Melanie:
Thank goodness it was a late call today. (Breakfast was for Cast and crew only) I had to get back into the “outfit” (they actually wash it!) and the same wacky hair – except today it was different wacky. We did similar versions to the scene yesterday – except from different angles. They also filmed the fight scene in the distance with the van in the foreground with Eric. We were all turned around – so I don’t know if it will look the same or matter at all.

Then, they prepared to knock down the statue. We did all kinds of shots before and then we had ONE SHOT PEOPLE – yes, after having one million shots of insignificant stuff, we now had ONE SHOT at the van knocking it down, peeling out and us running so it could be pasted to the scene we shot yesterday. We totally felt the pressure. We even had to have a little stunt safety meeting. This was it folks. So we did it and it went off without a hitch. I hope.

Lunch was roast chicken!

They spent some time filming Seth at the broken statue. Priceless. Then it was all over – that was it. After dinner and tomorrow they were filming a few interior scenes up at the World College.

We turned in our costumes and we were invited to dinner with the producers. I think they were just being nice – but the boys got a few Kristen Bell autographs and Kevin was so gracious.

We went to the motel and played a rousing game of 90s Trivial Pursuit in which Shappy kicked all of our asses. The more he drank the smarter he got! Cristin has made me laugh for the last two days. I’m so glad I met them.

 

Ken:
Ernie and Shappy came by around 8:30 pm to check out the collection room after first visiting Jess and Yvonne. The End!

Melanie:
Ahh, the end of our movie adventure! I’ll get to see my kids again and clean my kitchen. I can’t say enough how much I appreciate the opportunity to be a part of this thing called Fanboys! The story is sincere, the writer is sincere, 80% of the movie people are sincere and I can’t wait for it to come out! Even though I complained some (everybody has to complain – remember) every minute was worth it and I learned and experienced something new – that is priceless. My own thanks to Kyle, Matt, Scott, Kevin, Cory, Johanna, Gwyn, and Blue Plate – rock on!
